Earlier, we shared resources for Global Mapper Pro v25.1. Coincidentally, right after installation, Global Mapper Pro v26.2 was released. So, we uninstalled the freshly installed v25.1 and reinstalled v26.2. The installation is relatively straightforward, and the new version offers more features and greater convenience. Previously, I shared resources for Downloading and Installing Global Mapper Pro v24.0, but that version is a bit outdated. Now, I'm updating to the Global Mapper Pro v25.1 resource that I'm currently using. This article will share the installation package that I have personally tested and verified to work. Many readers have requested software resources for Global Mapper Pro. As I rarely use this software personally, updates were infrequent. Recently, my article "How to Download Online GIS Map Services for Local Use?" covered methods for downloading WMTS and other map services, with several users recommending Global Mapper Pro. Out of curiosity, I researched Global Mapper Pro resources and discovered three recent versions (v24, v25, v26). I'll share these incrementally in future posts.
