Here is an update on the latest ArcGIS Pro 3.7 installation package. It includes a built-in Chinese and English language pack. I have personally tested several commonly used functions without any issues; more functions have not been thoroughly tested. Those who need to upgrade to the new version can give it a try.

  1. Analyze Map performance diagnostics: The new Analyze Map pane identifies drawing performance bottlenecks layer by layer and provides optimization suggestions at three levels: errors, warnings, and tips.
  2. Map frame independent layer visibility in layouts: The same map can be referenced by multiple map frames, each of which can independently toggle layers on or off, eliminating the need to create duplicate maps for different layouts.

  1. Automatic vectorization of scanned images: The Conversion toolbox introduces Extract Scanned Lines and Extract Scanned Polygons tools, which automatically extract line and polygon features such as contours, rivers, building footprints, and land use from scanned raster images.

  1. Embedding-based GeoAI analysis: The GeoAI toolbox adds an Embeddings Based Analysis toolset, supporting embedding generation, similar feature search, embedding merging, and field extraction.

  1. Local file knowledge graph: File knowledge graphs can be created and managed in local folders without deploying ArcGIS Enterprise Knowledge Graph services, enabling linked charts and map-linked analysis.
  2. Utility Network telecom domain: Utility Network Version 8 supports a telecom domain network, designed for modeling telecom infrastructure such as fiber optic cables, fiber cores, and circuits, as well as path and circuit tracing.
  3. Custom view toolbar: Views such as maps support creating custom toolbars, allowing frequently used operations to be pinned to the interface.
  4. Help system redesign: Offline help is now managed by the ArcGIS Documentation Center, and online help has been migrated to doc.esri.com, supporting light and dark themes with faster global access.
  5. Performance and usability improvements: Enterprise geodatabase maps load faster, LAZ decompression and Google Photorealistic 3D basemap performance have been improved, symbols support semantic search, definition queries can be sorted and copied, and coordinate systems are reorganized by geographic region.
  6. Runtime upgrade: Version 3.7 requires installing the Microsoft .NET 10.0 Desktop Runtime and no longer uses .NET 8.0.

This version is quite large, about 11GB. I used 7-Zip to split it into 12 compressed parts, each 1GB. It is recommended to use 7-Zip to extract the files by simply double-clicking the .001 file.

Brief Installation Steps

Install in the order indicated within the compressed package.

  1. Install the runtime package. ArcGIS Pro 3.7 now requires the .NET 10 environment.
  2. Install the main program file ArcGISPro_37_zh_CN_200058.exe. The Chinese language pack is automatically installed during the process.
  3. [Optional] Install feature extensions (e.g., Deep Learning, Data Integration, etc.).
  4. Replace the file AfCore.dll.
  5. [Optional] If the Chinese language pack was not installed successfully in step 2, you can manually install the language pack.

Potential Issues

Please note that files related to this kind version may be intercepted or deleted by antivirus software. Make sure to allow them, otherwise the software will not function. It is recommended to disable antivirus software before installation.
